Eurasia

Hundreds of people groups in Eurasia still need God's Word in their language.

About Eurasia

The Eurasian continent spans an enormous swath of land with widely diverse cultures. From Afghanistan to Austria, Croatia to the Czech Republic, Russia to Romania, almost every Eurasian country is home to many unreached people groups.

In some areas of Eurasia, roughly one person in 200 professes Christianity, and one in 10 of those is Evangelical. But people are crying out for God’s Word. Training, specialized tools and biblical resources in key Gateway Languages help Eurasian translators accelerate the work of bringing the Bible to their people.

For example, more than 540 ethnic languages have bilingual connections to Russian. Translators who know Russian can use assets in this Gateway Language to quickly and accurately provide Scripture to those who speak the related ethnic languages.

Whether translators speak Russian, Persian, Croatian, Hungarian, or another Gateway Language, your support of projects in this region will directly impact Eurasian Scripture translation by providing the resources, tools and training needed to build those bridges.
